Test Manager, Test Script, Strategic Testing, Test Strategy, AGILE, RUP, SCRUM, ITIL
An experienced Test Manager required to join a large public sector organisation.
You will have the following skills and experience; Proven track-record of delivery of successful solutions through product development lifecycle on a number of large complex programmes; In depth knowledge of software quality assurance including proven management, supervisory or leadership experience; Experienced in Testing techniques used to plan and execute software tests of all application components (functional and non-functional) to verify the software satisfies the specified requirements and to detect errors; Experienced in principles, methods, techniques and tools for effective management of the testing process and planning and the execution and reporting of tests throughout the lifecycle of development projects; Experienced in working in an dynamic environment with tight deadlines and timeframes; Experienced in working with third party system integrators and developers; Ability to manage multiple stakeholders at various levels within the organisation; Familiar with industry standard defect management tools; Familiar with ITIL standards and implementation; Experience of AGILE development frameworks (RUP, SCRUM etc); Excellent communication skills; Proven experience in working with or managing a team; Familiar with large scale organisation; Excellent analytical skills; Experience of Planning including use of MS Project and MS Excel; Familiar with programme risk management techniques.
You will also have extensive experience of writing/ developing test scripts and experience of strategic testing; this is a very important part of this role.
Any experience in the criminal justice/police/government area is highly desirable.
Ideally you will have current security clearance to CTC or SC level, or you must be willing & elligible to undergo security clearance vetting.
